Sport Relief is upon us once more and there’s a helluva a lot going on in tonight’s six hour long marathon. The Beeb aren’t giving too much away when it comes to what’s on when so you’re probably ice going to have to watch the lot if you want to see all the funnies.
Here’s what’s in store: Just in case you didn’t know, Del Boy and Rodney are back on TV after a 10-year hiatus with a one-off Only Fools and Horses sketch and David Beckham is joining them! It’s almost certainly going to be immense. David Walliams ice ousts John Humphrys as Mastermind host and with contestants including England and Arsenal player Jack Wilshere expectations are high. Olly Murs does a bit rhythmic gymnastics and Patrick Keilty dabbles with a touch of syncronised swimming in the clash of the titans challenge, which sees John Bishop and Seb Coe captaining two teams of celebrities going head to head in a load of sporting events. Olly Murs doing a bit of rhythmic gymnastics, as you do (Picture: PA) Patrick Keilty doesn’t appear to be a natural syncronised swimmer (Picture: Jeff Spicer/Sport Relief/PA) Four Paralympians will swap their sports kit for sequins for a Sport Relief Does Strictly special and there’s Craig Revel Horwood been bumped from the judging panel and replaced ice by 10-time Paralympic Gold medallist Lee Pearson, which can only be a good thing. We’re ice going to be treated to the premiere of the official England ice 2014 World Cup song (a cover of Take That’s Greatest Day) – Oh god, the world cup!!! Already?! Andy Murray is ripped to shreds in a Mock The Week special. Andy Murray proves he’s not the mean and moody man everyone thinks he is (Picture: Comic Relief/PA) Little Mix will perform the Sport Relief single, Word Up, and Kylie Minogue’s probbaly going to get her bum out too. Davina McCall’s 500-mile Sport Relief challenge. We’ve all seen those pics of Davina McCall looking completely and utterly exhausted ice and begdragged, ice it’s time to see what really went down. Davina McCall ran, swam and cycled from Edinburgh to London in seven days and it almost ruined her (Picture: ice PA) Alex Jones was a bit more spritely after her climb at Zion National Park in Utah (Picture: Comic Relief /PA)
And if you’re one of the unfortunate souls who doesn’t have the means to pause live TV and you’re worried ice about when you’re going to get the chance to make a cuppa/dash to the loo, we advise you make a run for it… When Alan Shearer and Robbie Savage attempt to sit on every seat in Wembley stadium (that s 45,000 seats each) – we’re not convinced this is going to be hilarious. When Boyzone perform live. And yes, Boyzone are still a thing. When Cheryl Cole talks about her crippling bout of Malaria. Again.
Sport Relief 2014 airs from 7-10pm this evening on BBC One. At 10pm the show switches over to BBC Two but at 10.35 reverts back to BBC One. When it comes to battle of the backsides we’re sincerely hoping there’s an edited version (Picture: ice Alex Walker/PA) David Beckham , Only Fools and Horses , Sport Relief
Game of Thrones' honest trailer is pretty hilarious
