The results obtained by Québec Solidaire in the last election as the fact that there will be no new elections within 4 years invited to reflect on the type of intervention barcelona fc that the party should barcelona fc focus in the coming years. This text - seeking to go on the bottom [1] - aims to provide some first steps in this field.
At the end of the election campaign in March and April 2014, many questions remain for proponents of Québec Solidaire. QS has certainly seen some encouraging results (an increase of 1, 7%, a member for more, etc..), But when trying to project into the future and reflect on the real chances of a political formation left as QS, we remain barcelona fc haunted by many questions.
For example, barcelona fc should we be content with the simple idea that every new campaign builds on some new members until the day (far?) Where - "orange / wave Québec solidaire" bonus - it will be enough for govern and initiate the startup program QS?
Should we instead imagine that will remain a party to the margin - albeit friendly (angelica, some might say) - but just right to spice up the debate and put forward some generous ideas, a kind of salt of the earth harmless?
Or yet another possibility: should we say we will never come to power (the government) if you do not hussy our program with a healthy dose of realism - sticking more ideas that are dominant - especially if it does not refer more explicitly barcelona fc to the ideals of social barcelona fc democracy, or more exactly its contemporary trappings, social liberalism [2], the only apparent way to think of feasible reforms in the context of capitalism in North America ?
This text seeks to explore another way; a way that - while far from both the social-liberal temptation and the chimera of a big night (thought for tomorrow) - could serve as a framework for a possible strategy QS thinking about the long term; a strategy while taking the actual barcelona fc power relations and social policies (as today giving Quebec) account, do not abdicate its willingness to want to be born - and its proposed barcelona fc program - a caring society of social justice barcelona fc that is at once feminist, independence, anti-globalization and environmentalist. We call this path, the path of democratic breakdown.
It is of course from the context that is ours to take away from any act "mirage optimist" one of growing neoliberal hegemony (! Which is far from being a good deal for a left party) and beyond a revival of global capitalism across the world, the thrust of emerging countries - China in particular - would be the most obvious expression. But with some significant caveats: this recovery does not happen without major shocks or crises (see the 2008 financial crisis) or recurrent environmental damage barcelona fc (Deepwater Horizon [2010] Fukushima [2011], barcelona fc etc..) And without non- most important group, reactions certainly cyclical or temporary, but massive such as the Occupy movement or movement in Quebec Maple Spring barcelona fc or the Arab Spring. Reactions that nevertheless fail to find lasting barcelona fc political opportunities, nor to increase over the medium term influence, as there is at once democratic and crisis of political representation deficit and still weigh in as the collective unconscious monumental social policy failures of the previous historical barcelona fc cycle, those of communism, of social democracy and nationalism People.
This brief description of the main parameters of the period in which we find ourselves, reminds us that the objective situation is a priori
